Dear friends

The number of Corona infected people continues to rise at an alarming rate. It has reached almost 3.25 Lakhs, total all India figure.The silver lining is, that the alarming surge is restricted to few areas only. Maharashtra, Delhi, Tamilnadu etc, are cause of concern. There is an urgent need to immediately take corrective measures. Our focus must be on saving lives by providing the best possible medical care. There should be no politics, here and no blame- game. The history will not pardon you if anyone indulges in politics at this juncture. Every Indian is together in this fight against Corona, and we will together ensure that India wins. As I have  earlier said, we are all soldiers in this war and each one has to ensure that India succeeds. We need to follow all guidelines, rules and regulations and observe all precautions. lets remember  "'when the going gets tough, the tough get going''.

नेपाल के साथ जो कुछ समय से जो तनाव चल रहा है, यह अकल्पनीय है। नेपाल के साथ हमारे जो रिश्ते हैं, उनको शब्दों में बयान करना मुश्किल है। हम एक ही परिवार के हैं। कुछ तत्व इस परिवार में गलतफहमी पैदा कर,अपना उल्लू सीधा करना चाह रहे हैं। मुझे पूरा विश्वास है कि ऐसी ताकतें कभी भी अपने मंसूबों में कामयाब नहीं होंगी। हमारा नेपाल के साथ खून का रिश्ता है। हमने साथ साथ मिलकर देश की अखंडता व प्रभुता के लिए सर्वोच्च बलिदान दिया है। कुछ विदेशी ताकतें कुछ भी कर लें, खून का रिश्ता हमेशा उनके निंदनीय उद्देश्यों के ऊपर भारी पड़ेगा।

Chinese unethical actions in Ladakh continue to be of great concern to all of us. One can never trust the 'dragon'. Why at this time, when the whole world is involved in fighting the Corona Virus, China has decided to create this issue in Ladakh is beyond comprehension. They definitely have some sinister designs, and therefore, are indulging in posturing. Let me assure each and every Indian, that you have a very professional and most experienced Armed Forces of the world and therefore there is no cause for worry. We are capable of defending the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our 'Bharat Mata'. Not an inch of our land can ever be taken away by anyone by any unethical manner. हम को अपनी भारत मां की रक्षा करना बखूबी आता है।

"कंधे से मिलते हैं कंधे, कदमों से कदम मिलते हैं।हम चलते हैं जब ऐसे,तो दिल, दुश्मन के हिलते हैं।
प्यारे देशवासियों हमको किसी भी प्रकार की चिन्ता नहीं करनी चाहिए, आपका राजनीतिक नेतृत्व और सेना  दोनों ही देश की सुरक्षा करने में सक्षम है।

The statements by certain political parties and leaders during this period of grave National situation, is to say the least is deplorable. I have been always saying it that we are in a warlike state, and each one of us is a soldier fighting for our country.With the issue of border dispute with China also coming up at the same time, the situation is very sensitive. This will need to be handled with utmost care, both politically ( diplomacy included) and militarily. Our Armed Forces, while trying to put the correct perspective to the Chinese military leadership, have to be prepared for the worst case scenario militarily, just in case there is a flare-up.The military action, deployment, strategy, perception management, planning are never matters of public debate. These are extremely confidential matters and can't be shared in public. Therefore, asking the Govt to give a running commentary on what is happening in Ladakh is neither desirable nor possible. The statement of our Raksha Mantri and Home Minister is adequate and should provide the necessary comfort to all right thinking Indians. We have elected a Govt and reposed our faith in our Hon'ble PM, let's trust him and our proud Armed Forces. I request Rahul Ji, not to be very inquisitive and tweet everyday to know the day today happenings. Your intentions for such an action are easily discernible. The Army Chief's statement that everything is under control should satisfy Rahul Gandhi.

You have an Armed Forces, which is the people's (Indian) Army , and we promise you that they will never let you down.

The Passing Out Parade ( POP) yesterday was a treat to watch. Despite the mandatory requirement of following corona virus precautions, the IMA, set an example of how you could live alongwith the Corona and carry out all your legitimate duties in most elegant and dignified manner. Maintaining all the precautions, the POP was exceptional. The josh, the drill, the turnout, the enthusiasm, the national spirit, was truly magnificent. What impressed me the most, which was significant, is that it represented the true India across caste, creed, colour, region, religion, language. We had a number of Gentleman Cadets (GCs) who got Commission yesterday, were from financially deprived sections of our society.That  speaks volumes for our great Nation,' 'Where there is a will, there is a way'. My greatest Salute to those parents who have 'given their today for their children's tomorrow'. Just for the information of all, that there is no reservations in the Armed Forces, yet the only place you see India in all its glory is the Armed Forces. It truly will fill each Indians heart with joy and glory

In the end my heartfelt thanks and sincere compliments to all the Covid warriors who are leading from the front and have put their lives in the line of fire. हम आपके इस जज्बे और जुनून को कभी भूला ना पायेंगे। आपके त्याग, तपस्या, और बलिदान के आगे हम नतमस्तक हैं। हर भारतवासी को आपके इस बलिदान पर गर्व है। हम सब मिलकर आपका बहुत बहुत अभिनन्दन करते हैं। जय हिन्द, जय भारत, जय हिन्द की सेना।हम होंगे कामयाब।
