Kashmir: Thy Angelic Beauty

Meet the most eligible spinster of India. She is famous for her charismatic aura. A woman of 21st century, she is strong, phenomenal and fascinating. She has a mesmerising personality. Every individual who meets her is left awestruck. All in all, you can call her 'an angel' on Earth. Everybody wants her but she wants to be independent. She is Kashmir.

How pitiable is the condition of women in 21st century! Confused? Ever imagined it this way, that if the former state of Jammu and Kashmir had been a human being and moreover a female, what do you think would have been her reaction to all that is happening to her today?

What is her mistake? Why is she the sufferer? If she is an angel, can't she survive as one on Earth? Or has the human race vowed to change her like everyone else?  She has been through so much ever since the world got to know of her existence and look at her generosity, she has taken all of it and is still doing the same.

A demon in disguise of suitor (Pakistan)is after her life and has made her life hell. He wants to destroy her, overpower her but look at her kindness, she despite knowing it all, feeds him with water and makes his survival possible.

She is surrounded by superficial people (Politicians). People who just want to use her beauty as a tool for their progress. These people are using her name for their personal progress and defaming this pure lady around the globe.

She has a foster mother (India) with whom she does not share a very good rapport. Though her fostermother is very protective of her, she doesn’t like her, nor appreciates her poking nose into her affairs. After all, she is a 21st century independent lady.

The worst is she can't cry her heart out before anyone, because these people who claim to be 'her people' (residents) have made her a villain to the extent that now everyone hates her. Nobody wants to come close to her or pay visit to her. Though everyone praises her beauty even today but no one dares to come near to her.

Every day she wakes up and asks herself, "where did I go wrong?" or "Why me?" She is burning from inside. Somedays she wishes to commit suicide and give up. But till date she hasn't found her answers.

She now has become that angel whose wings have been chained and has been put in a cage and is asked to take a flight. Until now the only thing that kept her going was 'hope' but slowly she has started losing it.

If this lady could speak, it would have pleaded before the supreme court of India to understand her. It would have requested to answer a few questions. She would have filed cases of 'Defamation', 'Exploitation', 'Harassment' and 'Assault' against many people.

Article 35A and 370 were revoked by the Supreme Court of India on 6th August, 2019 and officially bothwings of this lady have been cut into two pieces and made as separate Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh on 31st October, 2019 but now all she wants to know is will herbrothers and sisters love her like their own sibling?

Now what we as India should worry about is when the chain will be removed and when she will be put out of cage, will this angel remember how to take a flight? Will she remain unique or will she too become a normal human being like all others?

She had fought with the world to maintain her uniqueness, one can fight with the world, but no matter how courageous they are, they can never fight with their world. So let's see how much love will this lady now receive from her siblings (other states of India).
